Survey API errors and testing

The external survey API can return a CallbackReply body containing ErrorCode, Errors, Info, and Data; validation paths may instead return an HTTP error. Check both HTTP status and body ErrorCode before treating an operation as successful.

Error or condition	Check
MISSING_API_KEY or INVALID_API_KEY	X-Api-Key header, account, and environment.
PENDING_APPROVAL	Advertiser approval status.
INVALID_HASH	Exact scheme, host, path, JSON body serialization, secret, digest, and sole enc query parameter.
Validation error	Required campaign fields, survey link templates, tags, quotas, and field dates.
Campaign not advancing	Redirect tests, target completes, allocation, funding, and review status in the dashboard.

Create a small development draft, fetch it, add a quota and screener, test all respondent result paths, then fund and submit only after reviewing the amount. Repeat an identical read and an intentionally invalid signature. Keep the API key, secret, signed URLs, and respondent data out of logs and screenshots.
