Audience and quotas

After saving Project Details, continue through Audience Sourcing, Audience, and Quota Allocation. These controls decide who can enter the survey and how many completes each segment and supplier can deliver.

Audience Sourcing

Choose the source types that may deliver respondents. Depending on your account, connect your own panel or app and select external suppliers. Review the connected sources before proceeding. Use only sources approved for your survey's country, language, consent terms, and device support.

Audience

The Audience step contains three sections:

  1. Profiling Questions narrow respondents using existing profile data.
  2. Respondent Targeting creates campaign quotas for the groups you need to fill. Set target completes for each quota and check that the total matches the study design.
  3. Custom Screening Questions can qualify respondents before the external survey. Write unambiguous questions, choose the intended answer rules, and test both accepted and rejected paths.

Keep country, language, demographic filters, screeners, and quotas consistent. Overly narrow combinations may yield little inventory; broad rules may spend on respondents your survey rejects. Do not ask for sensitive personal information in a screener unless your survey and account terms allow it.

Quota Allocation

The next step distributes quota completes across suppliers. Create at least one quota in Audience → Respondent Targeting before submitting for review. Inspect each quota's target and supplier allocation, then use the bulk actions only when the same setting genuinely applies to every quota. Confirm the total available allocation supports the desired completes and does not exceed the intended spend.

Next: test survey links and redirects, then fund and manage the campaign.
