Create a survey campaign

Open Advertiser → Campaigns and create a campaign. The first wizard step is Project Details. Save it to create a campaign ID; the remaining steps are disabled until that save succeeds.

Project overview

Enter a clear internal Name, CPI (cost per completed interview), LOI in minutes, expected Conversion percentage, and Max Daily Completes. These values drive cost and delivery estimates, so use realistic assumptions. Choose the country and language for the target market, then set the start and end dates. Add research category, industry, tags, or project manager when relevant to your project.

The dashboard estimates earnings per click from the entered conversion, LOI, and CPI. Treat it as a planning estimate rather than a guaranteed result. Some pricing fields become locked after funding.

Provide both a Survey Live Link and Survey Test Link. Each must include the exact {transaction_id} macro, for example https://survey.example/start?transaction={transaction_id}. The test link must reach the same result paths as the live survey without producing real paid completes. Preserve the resolved transaction ID and return parameters when redirecting; use the dashboard's generated redirect URLs and test them in the Test step. Select supported devices to match the survey's actual layout and eligibility.

The link generator also recognizes {age}, {gender}, {pr} (RapidoReach campaign/survey identifier in this flow), and {p} (panelist ID) when those values are available. Include an optional macro only if your survey platform needs it, and test how missing profile data is handled. Never replace {transaction_id} with your own constant: each respondent attempt needs its own value so the result can be matched.

Before moving on, open both links from a supported device, confirm that the survey loads, and check that no internal or credential-bearing data appears in a public URL. Save the project and verify the wizard unlocks Audience Sourcing.

Example setup: a 10-minute US English study with 100 target completes, a 50-complete daily cap, and separate live/test platform links. Save Project Details, make one or more quota targets whose intended total is 100, then allocate supply to those quotas. Verify the actual CPI and estimated total in checkout rather than multiplying the draft CPI yourself; targeting, provider terms, and chosen billing model can affect the displayed amount.

Next: source respondents and set quotas.
