Survey links and result testing
The Survey Live Link sends paid respondents to your survey. The Survey Test Link is for validation traffic. Keep both configured to preserve the RapidoReach respondent and transaction identifiers supplied by the entry flow. Do not replace a dashboard-generated test link with a guessed production URL.
Prepare your survey platform
- Configure live and test entry links with
{transaction_id}for the target country, language, and supported devices. - Configure the platform's result redirects to the exact return URLs shown in your campaign dashboard. Preserve their existing parameters and respondent identifiers.
- Map a complete to Success; separate qualification failure, quota full, and other screenouts or disqualifications. A rejected respondent must never be sent through the success path.
- Test on each supported device. A link that loads only on desktop can waste mobile inventory.
The current wizard displays these return URL templates. Replace {REPLACE_ME} with the resolved transaction ID that arrived at your survey, and copy the exact dashboard value if it differs in your environment:
| Result | Dashboard path |
|---|---|
| Success | /respondent_result/1?transaction_id={REPLACE_ME} |
| Disqualify | /respondent_result/3?transaction_id={REPLACE_ME} |
| Overquota | /respondent_result/6?transaction_id={REPLACE_ME} |
| Screenout | /respondent_result/9?transaction_id={REPLACE_ME} |
For example, if your survey platform stores transaction_id=abc123 at entry, its Success exit must send the same abc123 to the Success return path. It must not send a survey-local response ID in its place. Do not append another transaction_id parameter or drop the query string in an intermediate redirect.
Run the wizard test
Open the campaign's Test step and launch the generated test URL. Complete the survey once and refresh the result cards until Success records a successful result. This success test is required before checkout. Repeat with Disqualified, Overquota, and Screenout outcomes. Check that the result appears against the intended campaign and that your platform retains the same transaction identity.
If a result is Not Tested, inspect the return URL and your platform's exit mapping. If Success is recorded for an ineligible respondent, stop before funding and fix that path. Keep test and live responses separate in both systems. Re-run the test after changing links, quotas, screening, or platform redirects.
